Campaign Manager – Wiley 4 views

The Campaign Manager will direct and project manage ELS marketing campaigns and initiatives to grow and accelerate the sales pipeline to drive revenue. This will involve new lead generation, as well as increasing demand within existing accounts through innovative and content-focused marketing. Strategic planning and budgeting is required and should be based on actual data, with agility built into plans to make changes as a result of real-time analytics.
The Campaign Manager will manage B2B campaigns for Enterprise Sales as well as B2B2C campaigns for Vertical Marketing Managers. They will partner with the Sales and Revenue Operations Teams, to strategize and optimize demand generation campaigns. The Campaign Manager will actively build relationships across the Wiley organization and be able to determine which campaigns are outsourced and which were handled in-house. This individual must have significant experience successfully leading integrated, omnichannel campaigns, with a results and data-driven mentality.
This role will provide leadership across the team, and wider team. They will report on ROI to senior leaders and be responsible for managing campaigns to meet growth targets. As we scale, this role will be responsible for growing and developing an expert team. They will thrive in a fast-paced, results oriented, and challenging environment and should be expert in multi-channel digital marketing campaigns. The successful candidate will have 5+ years of experience working in online media, digital, direct marketing and/or eCommerce environments with a focus on performance-based marketing, measurement and analytics.
Responsibilities
· Lead Generation – Implement new lead generation campaigns, ensuring the Marketing team delivers a set number of high-quality leads that the Sales team can then follow up with.
· Marketing Strategy – Define the campaign strategy and objectives, identify buying targets and buying windows, and external marketing plan.
· Project Management – Coordinate the tactical execution of our marketing campaigns.
· Reporting/Analytics – Complete routine campaign/event reviews and provide ROI analysis; pivot strategy to align with findings
Requirements
· Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree
· Demonstrated success with end-to-end campaign design, rollout, and project management
· Significant experience managing inbound and outbound channels (digital, events, sales enablement, email, partner, content marketing) and an understanding of how they can work together to form an optimal channel mix
· Experience in audience analysis, messaging, content and journey mapping, program development, and measurement
· Experience with a marketing automation system, preferably HubSpot
· Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment; ability to multitask and effectively manage time
· Strong written and verbal communication skills
· Ability to work effectively with internal and external clients
· Experience handling substantial marketing budgets
· Ability to travel domestically
· Solid presentation skills and comfort in presenting in front of groups and clients
· Computer literacy: MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
